ECOMMERCE WEBSITE DESIGN
Selling Your Products and Services
eCommerce essentially means an online shopfront, where customers can browse products, buy goods and services and pay using modern methods.
All the normal administrative systems of brick-and-mortar stores are available for eCommerce stores.
WooCommerce is a ‘freemium’ eCommerce platform that integrates seamlessly with WordPress. Freemium means the basic software is free, functional and customisable, and you can buy extra features such as bookings or subscriptions management, Xero account syncing, and product feature add-on management. We will discuss your wants, needs and options during the specification stage of eCommerce site design.
Integration with other systems
- Payment solutions
- Bank Transfer
- A range of more specific providers
- Xero integration
- NZ Post & other courier integration
- Packing slips
- Order shipment tracking
- Customer accounts, logins, order management
- Subscription management
- Inventory management systems
- Transactional emails
- Marketing email
Some of these have associated annual costs (tax deductible) but none are exorbitant.
Day to Day Management
Once you have your new eCommerce site set up, you’ll need content and specs for all your products. This could include images, descriptions, pricing, and data metrics like weight and size.
We can be involved as little or as much as you like at this stage. We can organise a professional photographer or videographer, generate all your ‘copy’ (written content) from interviews and spec sheets, and load all your products. Or, we can teach you to do it all yourself, as many eCommerce site owners do.
The choice is yours. Digital Pie don’t rely on upselling services, so we’re open to whatever plan suits you best.
